Bauchi State Government Commits to Settle Late Journalist Dalhat Bello's Debts and Gratuity

The Bauchi State Government has committed to settling the outstanding debts and gratuity of the late veteran journalist and retired civil servant, Mallam Dalhat Hamid Bello. Governor Bala Mohammed has pledged to fast-track the payment process to support Bello's family, following his recent passing.

The state's Commission for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, represented by Hon. Hajara Yakubu Wanka, disclosed this during a condolence visit to the deceased journalist's family in Bauchi.

Wanka described Bello as a dedicated public servant who made significant contributions to the growth of the broadcast profession in Bauchi State. Bello, who served as the Acting Managing Director of the Bauchi Radio Corporation, passed away last Saturday night and was buried according to Islamic rites.
