Bayelsa APC Rejects Wike's Coalition, Backs Tinubu for 2027

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, under the leadership of Chairman Warman Weri Ogoriba, has dismissed the emerging "Rainbow Coalition" led by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory. Ogoriba stated that the APC possesses sufficient structures and grassroots support to effectively campaign for President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates in the upcoming 2027 elections.

He emphasized the party's unity and strong presence across all eight local government areas and political wards in Bayelsa. In response to Wike's claims of having the political structures to deliver both Rivers and Bayelsa states for Tinubu, Ogoriba maintained that the APC would not be distracted by external political arrangements.

He reiterated the party's commitment to strengthening its organization and expanding grassroots presence, urging members to remain focused and united as election preparations intensify.
