Baze University Launches Press to Enhance Academic Publishing

Baze University, located in Abuja, has launched the Baze University Press (BUP) to enhance research, academic publishing, and knowledge production. This initiative was approved by the university’s Board of Trustees during a meeting chaired by the Founder and Chancellor, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed.

The press aims to publish scholarly works from the university's academic community, including books, journals, and research monographs, thereby increasing the global visibility of its research. The initiative is part of Baze University's commitment to excellence in teaching and research, and it will adopt international publishing standards, including rigorous editorial scrutiny and independent peer review.

The BUP will also provide various services such as manuscript development, academic editing, and digital archiving. Additionally, it aims to support emerging scholars through mentorship in academic writing and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

This establishment aligns with the university's broader goals of internationalization and academic distinction, contributing significantly to scholarly discourse in Nigeria and beyond.
