Baze University and NIM Host Leadership Skills Workshop

Baze University, Abuja, collaborated with the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Maitama Chapter, to conduct a capacity-building workshop aimed at enhancing leadership and workplace management skills for managers, students, and early-career professionals. The workshop sought to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical executive practice, gathering university administrators, management professionals, industry leaders, and students.

Professor Abiodun Adeniyi, Vice-Chancellor of Baze University, encouraged participants to prioritize continuous learning and ethical leadership for sustainable career growth. Lady Appolonia Akudo Odiah, Chairman of the NIM Maitama Chapter, emphasized the need for professionalism and accountability in both public and private sectors.

The event included masterclasses from notable professionals, such as Dr. Shittu H. Shaibu, who discussed management theory application, and Mr. Babatunde Oresanya, who focused on financial intelligence.

Lady Christie Eleojo Adejoh presented on emotional intelligence, while Dr. Obinna Nwachukwu addressed professional identity and networking strategies. The workshop concluded with an interactive session featuring contributions from Engr. Abdul-Lawal Zubair.
