Baze University and NIM Host Leadership Skills Workshop

Baze University, Abuja, collaborated with the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Maitama Chapter, to conduct a capacity-building workshop aimed at equipping managers, students, and early-career professionals with essential leadership and workplace management skills. The workshop sought to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical executive practice, gathering university administrators, management professionals, industry leaders, and students.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Abiodun Adeniyi emphasized the importance of continuous learning and ethical leadership. Lady Appolonia Akudo Odiah, Chairman of the NIM Maitama Chapter, highlighted the need for professionalism and accountability in service delivery.

The event included the recitation of the NIM Code of Conduct, led by Sir Dr. Raymond Ihenacho and Lady Odiah. Notable presentations included Dr. Shittu H.

Shaibu's paper on management theory, Mr. Babatunde Oresanya's insights on financial intelligence, and Lady Christie Eleojo Adejoh's discussion on emotional intelligence. Dr. Obinna Nwachukwu concluded with strategies for building professional identity and networks.
