Tacha Arrested by Nigerian Police in Lagos for Noncompliance

Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha from Big Brother Naija, was reportedly arrested by the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) at her residence in Ajah, Lagos. The arrest occurred early on a Sunday morning after Tacha allegedly failed to honor three invitations from the police between May and August 2026.

The information regarding her arrest was shared by Seun Oloketuyi, a Nigerian movie producer and Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON), through a post on Instagram. The post indicated that Tacha was picked up after she did not respond to the invitations sent by the NPF, specifically from the NPF-NCCC.

The situation has drawn attention due to Tacha's celebrity status following her participation in the reality television show.
