Verydarkman Warns New IGP Disu on Female Personnel Caution

Social media activist Verydarkman issued a warning to the newly confirmed Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Disu, advising him to exercise caution regarding female personnel within the Nigeria Police Force. This warning follows a video shared on Instagram, where Verydarkman criticized the previous police leadership for alleged misconduct and corruption, claiming it left serious institutional problems.

He specifically referenced the case of two female officers, identified as Buki, who were accused of abusing their positions to arrest individuals at Wuse Market over alleged theft of gold worth N2 billion. Verydarkman expressed confidence in Disu's ability to restore integrity to the police force, referencing Disu's previous role in the Federal Capital Territory.

He urged the new IG to ensure strict supervision of officers and to be vigilant in preventing misconduct, emphasizing that the Nigeria Police Force has suffered enough from historical injustices.
