Onjeh Reaffirms Support for Alia Despite APC Primary Defeat

Daniel Onjeh, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed unwavering support for Benue State Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia following the APC primary election, which he described as a product of political negotiations beyond the governor's control. Onjeh characterized the outcome of the primary as "pure horse trading" and expressed disappointment in the process, asserting that it was driven by political interests rather than direct involvement from Governor Alia.

Despite the setback, Onjeh emphasized that his loyalty to Alia remains intact and applauded the governor's leadership style. He noted that the APC had fallen short of delivering good governance but maintained that his commitment to supporting Alia's administration and re-election bid is steadfast.

Onjeh congratulated Alia ahead of the upcoming governorship primary election, reiterating his pledge to continue backing the governor's efforts to improve the lives of ordinary citizens in Benue State.
