APC Suspends Five Members in Benue Over Misconduct

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Vandeikya Local Government Area (LGA), Benue State, has suspended five members due to alleged misconduct during a recent zoning exercise. The suspension affects Hon.

Stephen, Hon. Terneng Nevkaa, Hon.

Solomon Semaka, Hon. Agabi Mede, and Hon.

Gawon Pev, all of whom were appointed by Governor Hyacinth Alia. The decision was reached during an emergency meeting convened by the APC Central Executive Committee, which included ward chairmen and stakeholders from 12 council wards.

The members were accused of disregarding party directives and engaging in harassment and public insults against stakeholders during the zoning process. The APC Vandeikya chairman, Hon.

Felix Ukang, emphasized the party's commitment to unity, discipline, and internal democracy, urging the suspended members to respect the decision and refrain from party-related activities until further notice. The meeting also addressed the emergence of Hon.

Terna Shimawua as the consensus candidate for the lower Kyan state constituency.
