Benue Assembly Elects Hon. Peter Ipusu as Majority Leader

The Benue State House of Assembly has elected Hon. Peter Ipusu, representing Katsina-Ala West State Constituency, as the new Majority Leader. The election occurred during a plenary session on Tuesday, presided over by Speaker Rt.

Hon. Berger Alfred. Hon. Ipusu, an experienced legislator, previously served as Chief Whip and currently chairs the House Standing Committee on Tertiary Education.

Speaker Alfred congratulated Ipusu, describing his new role as an opportunity to enhance the legislature's effectiveness and stability. He urged Ipusu to leverage his experience in coordinating legislative activities and fostering cooperation among members.
