Alia Orders Resignation of Appointees for 2027 Elections

Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia of Benue State has issued a directive requiring all political appointees who plan to contest in the 2027 general elections to resign by March 30, 2026. This decision, communicated through a statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, aims to maintain the momentum of development within the state.
