Benue Govt Probes Indecent Musician Performance Before Students - Outrage Sparks Investigation

The Benue State Government initiated an investigation into a viral video showing a musician, identified as Egyptian Cairo, performing indecently with explicit lyrics before secondary school students at Foundation College Abeda Shitile. The Benue State Bureau of Education Quality Assurance (BEQA) condemned the act as a gross violation of moral and ethical standards in an educational setting.

Dr. Terna Francis, the Director General of BEQA, emphasized the importance of upholding discipline and decency in the state's education system.

The investigation aims to determine how the musician gained access to the school and the level of involvement of the institution's management in the incident.
