Benue South APC Rejects Endorsement of Abba Moro

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue South Senatorial District has officially distanced itself from any purported endorsement of Abba Moro, the Senate Minority Leader and candidate from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2027 elections. The party reaffirmed its commitment to its own senatorial candidate, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo, and emphasized that there is no alliance with the PDP in the region.

This statement came in response to a banner displaying the APC's name at the launch of Moro’s campaign, which the APC described as an attempt to mislead voters. Hon. Job Onum, the APC Zonal Chairman for Benue South, condemned the display as a "show of shame" and a desperate act to create an illusion of cross-party support.

The APC reiterated its political direction, supporting Bola Tinubu for President, Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia for Governor, and Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo for the Senate, urging members to remain focused and not be misled by such tactics.
