Moro Campaigns for Tinubu, Critiques Alia Administration

Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District, officially launched his senatorial campaign in Otukpo, advocating for massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates in the upcoming 2027 general election. Moro emphasized that his re-election bid is a commitment to his constituents and a chance to build on previous progress.

He expressed concern over the neglect of Benue South by the Governor Hyacinth Alia-led administration, which he claims has increased pressure on him as constituents seek his leadership. Moro lamented the insecurity issues in the region, accusing the state government of insufficient concern for affected communities.

He challenged the Alia administration to provide evidence of its achievements over the past three years. Moro noted his legislative contributions, including sponsoring 16 bills and moving 16 motions in the National Assembly.

He endorsed PDP governorship candidate Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, urging support for better governance. Former Governor Samuel Ortom and PDP Chairman Rt.
