Oyo Operation: Successful Rescue of Abducted Children

The Oyo operation, which took place following the abduction of schoolchildren and a teacher on May 15, was directed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who mobilized necessary security assets for their release. The operation was executed by a Joint Inter-Agency Task Force (JIATF) comprising personnel from the Nigerian Armed Forces, Nigerian Police Force, State Security Service, National Intelligence Agency, Defence Intelligence Agency, and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps.
