Murray-Bruce Praises Tinubu for Successful Kidnap Rescue

Ben Murray-Bruce, a former senator from Bayelsa, praised President Bola Tinubu and Nigeria's security agencies for their successful operation that rescued kidnapped pupils and teachers in Oyo State. He described the operation as a remarkable achievement and a testament to effective leadership and intelligence coordination.

The operation, confirmed by special adviser Bayo Onanuga, resulted in the safe return of the victims and the arrest of eight suspects, with several others killed during the operation. It was noted that the rescue was carried out without negotiations or concessions to the abductors.

President Tinubu's commitment to national security was highlighted, along with the efforts of the Director General of the DSS, Nuhu Ribadu, whose coordination of the security architecture has yielded tangible results. Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde also welcomed the successful operation, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the safety of children.
