Biopic on Korea's First Priest and Martyr Premieres on EWTN Channel

A biopic on St. Andrew Kim Taegon, Korea's first Catholic priest and martyr, is set to premiere on EWTN Channel on September 20.

The film depicts the challenging life journey of St. Andrew Kim Taegon, who faced persecution in Korea before being ordained as a priest and eventually martyred at a young age.

The movie aims to commemorate the 200th birth anniversary of the saint and keep his spirit alive. Directed by Park, the biopic showcases the saint's dedication to his faith and mission despite facing adversity.

The premiere coincides with the 40th anniversary celebration of EWTN Channel, adding significance to the event.
