Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni Settle Legal Dispute

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have reached a settlement in their long-running legal dispute related to the film "It Ends With Us," which is based on Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel. The settlement was confirmed in a joint statement, allowing both parties to avoid a civil trial that was scheduled to proceed soon.

Lively had previously accused Baldoni, the film's director, of inappropriate behavior during production, including making inappropriate remarks and attempting to introduce unscripted sex scenes. She also alleged that producer Jamei Heath engaged in inappropriate conduct.

Lively claimed that Baldoni orchestrated a public relations campaign to damage her reputation regarding the film. Following the settlement, Lively was seen at the Met Gala in New York, wearing a dramatic ball gown.

Baldoni had previously filed a countersuit against Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, accusing him of defamation and extortion, but those claims were dismissed by a judge last year. The film is projected to gross $350 million and become one of the year's biggest box office successes.
