Blogger Apologizes for Fabricating Stories on Soludo Family

Ejik Ofoegbu, a blogger associated with Igbo Time Magazine, publicly admitted to fabricating stories about Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, and his son, Ozonna Soludo.

Ofoegbu published four articles claiming that Governor Soludo had disowned his son and that Ozonna had given an interview detailing reasons for this disownment. However, Ofoegbu later retracted these claims, stating that they were false and fabricated to gain popularity for his blog.

He issued a public apology, expressing regret for the misinformation and acknowledging that none of the individuals mentioned had granted interviews. Ofoegbu emphasized the importance of correcting the misinformation to prevent similar incidents in the future.

He also stated that he would face consequences for his actions, including potential arrest, and expressed a desire for forgiveness from the people of Anambra State.
