Blord Released from Kuje Prison After 20 Days Detention

Linu William Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, was released from Kuje Prison after spending 20 days in detention. His release occurred after he met the bail conditions set by the court, which included the deposit of his international passport.

The bail order was granted on a Friday, but the passport had not arrived in Abuja from Anambra State by the time of his release announcement. Human rights activist and politician Omoyele Sowore expressed gratitude for the public support that contributed to Blord's release.

He shared a video of the event on his Instagram page, stating that Blord's situation serves as a reminder that collective action can yield results and that no one should be abandoned in unjust detention.
