Boko Haram Attacks Governor's Hometown, Kills Two and Abducts One in Adamawa State

Boko Haram launched a deadly midnight attack in Kirchinga, Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State, killing two newly established forest guards and abducting one. The slain forest guards were identified as Njidda Maradi and Yuguda Abasaryu.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's hometown was targeted, with security agencies facing difficulties due to the terrain. Suleiman Nguroj, the Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the attack but residents reported discrepancies in the casualties.
