Terrorists Abduct Six in Adamawa Governor's Hometown, Security Forces Launch Rescue Operation

In Adamawa State, Nigeria, terrorists abducted six family members in Gare village, Pallam district, Madagali local government area, the hometown of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri. The Adamawa State Police Command confirmed the attack and immediately deployed additional personnel for a joint search and rescue operation with security agencies.

The Nigerian Army is also involved in securing the area and preventing further attacks. The incident occurred during Governor Fintiri's tour of the state to assess security challenges.

Recent violent incidents in the region, including an attack in Hong local government area that left 12 people dead, have raised concerns about security in Adamawa State.
