Boko Haram Releases Video of 300 Abducted Villagers

Boko Haram has circulated a video depicting 300 villagers abducted during a recent assault on the Ngosh community in Gwoza Local Government Area, Borno State. The attack occurred around midnight on a Wednesday, prompting thousands of residents to flee to neighboring Pulka.

Eyewitnesses reported that the assault lasted several hours, causing panic and destruction. The video, which surfaced on Saturday, shows armed men believed to be insurgents carrying sophisticated weapons and waving black flags, with some appearing in Nigerian military uniforms.

President Bola Tinubu, during an interfaith breakfast meeting at the State House in Abuja, urged Nigerians not to succumb to fear in the face of renewed terror attacks. He emphasized that his administration is committed to defeating terrorism and restoring stability in the country, expressing confidence that Nigeria will prevail against forces undermining its peace and unity.
