Boko Haram Burns Schools in Borno, No Casualties Reported

Boko Haram launched an attack in Borno, setting ablaze Mussa Primary and Junior Secondary School in Askira Uba. The incident occurred around 7 PM on a Saturday, with no casualties reported.

Residents, fearing for their safety, fled to the bush during the assault. Sources indicated that the town has suffered multiple attacks in recent months, raising concerns about the destruction of public and private property.

The motive behind the arson of the schools remains unclear. Efforts to reach the police public relations officer, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, for comments were unsuccessful as his phone was unreachable.
