Boko Haram Launches Coordinated Attacks in Borno and Yobe States, Looting Arms and Engaging Military

Boko Haram militants carried out coordinated attacks in various communities in Borno and Yobe states, including Mafa, Dikwa, Mart, Ajiri, and Katarko. The insurgents overran military checkpoints and barracks, looting weapons and engaging in clashes with security forces.

While no civilian casualties were reported, the attacks resulted in the loss of lives on the terrorist side. The militants also looted food items, commodities, and burnt down transport vehicles.

The attacks, involving a large number of heavily armed militants, have raised concerns about security in the region.
