Borno Terror Attack: 2 Killed as Boko Haram Burns Palace - Senator Confirms Insecurity

In Borno, Boko Haram gunmen attacked and set fire to the palace of the district head in Kirawa town, Gwoza local government area, resulting in the deaths of two civilians and one person injured. The incident occurred on Monday night, September 29, with many villagers fleeing to Cameroon for safety.

Senator Mohammed Ndume confirmed the attack, highlighting the insecurity in the region despite recent resettlement efforts. Cameroonian soldiers, who were protecting the town, had reportedly left their positions.
