Ibom Air Appoints Capt. Banjana Bailor as Director

Ibom Air has officially appointed Capt. Banjana Bailor as its new Director of Flight Operations.

Capt. Bailor brings an extensive background to the role, with 40 years of aviation experience and a remarkable 20,000 flight hours.

His career includes a diverse range of operational experience across various aircraft types, such as the BAC 1-11, DC-9, and Boeing 737 NG, and he holds an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). Mr.

Georg Uriesi, the Chief Executive Officer of Ibom Air, welcomed Capt. Bailor to the team, highlighting his wealth of experience, technical competence, and unwavering commitment to safety as ideal qualities for leading flight operations.

Uriesi expressed optimism about the positive impact Bailor will have on the airline's continued network expansion and the maintenance of scheduled reliability. The announcement was made through a statement signed by Aniekan Essienett, the Group Manager of Marketing Communications at the airline.
