BPP Engages Stakeholders in Lagos for Procurement Reform

On February 26, 2026, the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) convened a meeting at Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, involving contractors and various stakeholders. The meeting, as stated by Mr.

Zira Zakka Nagga, Head of the Press Public Relations Unit, aimed to engage contractors and civil society organizations in a dialogue to develop a framework that benefits Nigeria's procurement system. The initiative provides an opportunity for stakeholders to offer feedback and input towards the development of the national procurement strategy.

The meeting's objective is to align with Nigeria's procurement reform agenda and ensure the successful implementation of the reforms. Participants included representatives from government institutions, the private sector, professional bodies, civil society organizations, and development partners involved in procurement oversight and advocacy for service delivery.
