ADC Triumphs Over APC in AMAC Polling Unit Election

In a notable development during the AMAC elections in the Federal Capital Territory, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) defeated the All Progressives Congress (APC) at polling unit 076 in Sani Abacha Estate, Wuse Zone 4. Dr. Mose Paul, the ADC chairmanship candidate, garnered seven votes, while the APC received only two votes, with one ballot declared invalid.

The election period was characterized by a low voter turnout, attributed to a lack of resident participation and concerns over the electoral process's integrity. Dr. Paul expressed worries about the overall conduct of the election, citing restrictions imposed by the Federal Capital Territory Minister that discouraged voter participation.

Despite these challenges, he condemned alleged intimidation tactics used by APC agents in the area, calling for security agencies to investigate these actions to ensure a fair electoral process.
