Atiku Abubakar Meets Hayatu-Deen in Lagos for Reconciliation

On a reconciliation tour ahead of the 2027 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, the flagbearer of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), visited businessman Moham Hayatu-Deen at his residence in Lagos. This visit comes after Hayatu-Deen finished third in the party's recent presidential primary election.

Atiku's tour aims to unify the party and strengthen its position for the upcoming elections. Prior to this visit, Atiku met with former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi at his residence in Abuja, where they discussed party cohesion and national recovery.

Atiku expressed the need for urgent responses to the nation's challenges, including economic pain and insecurity. He shared on social media the warmth and camaraderie experienced during his visit with Amaechi, emphasizing the importance of honest conversations about the country's troubles.
