Adeyemi Faces Arrest Warrant Over Fraud Charges

Princ Adeniyi Adeyemi, described as a self-styled director of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), is facing arrest due to his failure to appear in court for arraignment on eight counts of fraud and forgery. Justice Moham Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja issued a bench warrant for Adeyemi's arrest on Tuesday after the prosecuting counsel, Wisdom Madaki, informed the court of Adeyemi's repeated absences.

The case, marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, involves allegations of forgery and impersonation. Adeyemi's latest absence follows a history of failing to attend previous court sessions.

The PFIPC has been publicly disowned by the presidency, which insists that no such government agency exists. The court is expected to set a new date for Adeyemi's arraignment once the arrest warrant is executed.
