BREAKING: APC secures landslide victory in Kogi House of Assembly by-election

The APC has emerged victorious in the Kogi House of Assembly by-election, securing a landslide win in the state constituency. The APC candidate, Musa Hassan Yakubu, was declared the winner after commanding a significant number of votes, defeating his closest rival, Godwin Meliga of the PDP.

The vote gap between the two parties was substantial, with Yakubu emerging as the clear winner. Other candidates in the election, such as Egene Joseph Ugbede of the APM and Amos Ahaiba of the ADC, lagged far behind in terms of votes.

The by-election was held following the declaration of a vacancy in the constituency, with the INEC organizing the election on Saturday, August 16. This victory marks a significant win for the APC in the state.
