Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Leader Dies at 93

His Most Eminence Emmanuel Alogbo, the Spiritual Father of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, died peacefully at the age of 93 on July 30, 2026, at approximately 2:10 a.m. at his residence in Lagos. The announcement was made by Prophet Anthony Olusesan Samaye, the church's Secretary-General, who stated that Alogbo was surrounded by family and domestic staff at the time of his passing.

The church expressed gratitude for Alogbo's life, describing him as a devoted spiritual leader dedicated to serving God and humanity. Prayer sessions are scheduled to be held daily for seven days at his residence in Ijaiye-Ojokoro, Lagos, starting at 5 p.m.

The church will announce funeral arrangements at a later date. Alogbo was recognized as one of Nigeria's longest-serving church leaders and played a significant role in the church's growth and expansion both domestically and internationally.

His death signifies the end of an era for the church.
