Cherubim and Seraphim Church Leader Baba Alogbo Dies at 93

Baba Aladura Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Adewale Abiodun Alogbo, aged 93, passed away in the early hours of July 30, 2026, at approximately 2:10 a.m. at his residence. He was the Supreme Head (Olori) of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria and the Spiritual Father of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide (Ayo Ni o).

His death was announced by Senior Special Apostle Prophet Anthony Olusesan Samaye, the Secretary-General of the CSMC (Ayo Ni o), who stated that Alogbo was surrounded by family and domestic staff at the time of his passing. Daily prayers will be held at his residence in Lagos for seven days at 5 p.m. following his death.

The statement expressed condolences and requested that God grant the church the strength to cope with the loss. Burial arrangements for Baba Aladura Alogbo will be announced later.

He succeeded the late Most Reverend (Prophet) Samuel Adefila Abidoye as the Spiritual Father of the CSMC in 2024.
