BREAKING: EFCC Raids Obasanjo’s Hotel

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) conducted a raid at Green Legacy Hotel in Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, arresting several youth suspected of internet fraud during a poolside party. The raid, which took place in the early hours of Sunday, caused panic among guests as gunshots were heard and partygoers scrambled for safety.

Videos shared online showed guests fleeing as security agents seized vehicles and valuables. Sources revealed that 20 luxury cars were impounded during the operation.

This incident came a day after the EFCC operatives from the Ibadan Zonal Directorate raided Itori in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, arresting 55 suspects, one of whom was allegedly in possession of two pistols. Eyewitnesses and social media users, like Ayomide, shared their experiences of narrowly avoiding the raid.
