Obasanjo Presidential Library Threatens Legal Action Against EFCC Over Midnight Raid

The Obasanjo Presidential Library has threatened legal action against the EFCC following a midnight raid by operatives from the Lagos Zonal Directorate. The raid, which took place during the Wet Rave Splash Extravaganza party at the library's Rounda fun spot, resulted in the arrest of 93 youths and the seizure of 18 vehicles and several mobile devices.

A viral video showed guests scrambling for safety as gunshots rang out during the operation. The library's Managing Director, Vitalis Ortese, condemned the raid as an invasion of private property and a violation of the rights of those present.

The EFCC claimed the raid was based on credible intelligence, but the library demanded an explanation and apology for the incident. If the agency fails to comply, the library will take legal action.
