House Speaker Abbas Mourns Elder Brother's Passing in Zaria

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas, is mourning the loss of his elder brother, Alhaji Aminu Pate, who passed away after a prolonged illness at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Zaria. The deceased held the traditional title of Wamban Dawakin Zazzau and had a distinguished career as a retired civil servant.

The funeral prayer for Alhaji Aminu Pate was held at the Emir of Zazzau Palace in Zaria. The loss of his brother is a personal tragedy for Speaker Abbas and the Zazzau Emirate Council.
