Labour Party Chairman Attacked at Benin Airport

Labour Party's National Chairman, Barrister Julius Abure, was reportedly attacked by Ms. Precious Oruche at Benin Airport in an incident described as politically motivated.

Oruche, allegedly a member of an opposing political family, confronted Abure while boarding a flight to Abuja. The altercation continued during the flight, with Oruche verbally abusing Abure.

The party condemned the assault, claiming it was part of a targeted attack on Abure by elements linked to senior police officers. The party vowed to protect its leadership from further attacks, highlighting the escalating tensions within the political landscape.
