Activist Sowore Exposes DSS Assassination Plot

Human rights activist and Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, has accused the Nigerian Department of State Services (DSS) of planning to assassinate him. Sowore claimed the DSS is targeting him for his criticism of President Bola Tinubu and exposing corruption within the administration.

He alleged that the DSS has been monitoring his activities, including contacting social media companies to act as secret police. Sowore also revealed that the DSS had previously attempted to assassinate him inside the Federal High Court in Abuja.

This revelation has raised concerns about press freedom and government accountability in Nigeria.
