NMA to Assess Nnamdi Kanu's Health Amid DSS Dispute

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) is set to conduct an independent medical assessment of Nnamdi Kanu's health condition amidst conflicting reports from the Department of State Services (DSS) and Kanu's private medical team. The NMA formed a panel of medical experts to review the differing medical opinions regarding Kanu's health while in DSS custody.

The association aims to resolve the dispute and provide an unbiased assessment of Kanu's medical needs. The DSS, represented by Asiwaju Adegboyega Awomolo SAN, maintains that Kanu's condition can be managed within the agency's medical facility, while Kanu's private medical team insists on urgent treatment at the National Hospital.
