Reps Declare Adeniyi Adeyemi's Appointment Letter Fake

The House of Representatives ad hoc committee investigating the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) has declared the appointment letter presented by Adeniyi Adeyemi, who claims to be the Director-General, as fake. This announcement was made by the committee's Chairman, Yusuf Gagdi, during an investigative hearing in Abuja.

Gagdi stated that the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, confirmed the documents submitted by Adeyemi were not authentic.

Gagdi emphasized that the appointment letter and the Act presented were both fake and forged by Adeyemi. The Head of the Civil Service appeared before the committee to make final submissions on the matter.

Despite earlier directives, Adeyemi had not appeared before the committee at the time of the report. The committee had previously described the establishment and operation of the PFIPC as a serious breach of due process and directed the Inspector-General of Police to produce Adeyemi within 48 hours.
