Tinubu Appoints Matawalle as APC Campaign Security Chief

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, the Honourable Minister of State for Defence, as Deputy Director, Security and Intelligence 1 of the 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council. Dr. Matawalle's responsibilities include ensuring the security architecture for campaign activities, conducting intelligence and risk assessments, and coordinating with various stakeholders to enhance support for the campaign's security framework.
