Tinubu Appoints Fayose and 25 Others to Federal Agencies

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose as Chairman of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) on Monday. Alongside Fayose, 25 other individuals were appointed to various federal government agencies.

The appointments were announced by Tinubu's Special Adviser on Strategic Communications, Bayo Onanuga. Notable appointments include Alhaji Ahmadu Abubakar and Ilyasu Ibrahim Makinta as members of the REA board, with Abba Abubakar Aliyu remaining as an executive director.

Additionally, Tinubu made eight appointments to the Wage Commission, including Major General Bindawa and Olajumok Okoya as new secretaries. Other appointments included Dr. Ogbol En as the new executive secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund and Dr. Akinola Odeyemi as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading.

The appointments are effective immediately, reflecting Tinubu's ongoing efforts to fill key positions within the federal government.
