PDP Endorses Fayose as REA Chairman by Tinubu

The Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially endorsed the appointment of Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, as Chairman of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) by President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC). This endorsement follows a unanimous approval from the Ekiti State Working Committee (SWC) of the PDP, which has been communicated to the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

The PDP expressed confidence in Fayose's leadership qualities, administrative competence, and commitment to public service, asserting that his governance experience would significantly benefit the REA's mission to expand electricity access to rural communities across Nigeria. The party also conveyed its support for Fayose as he begins this national assignment and congratulated him on the upcoming commissioning of a monument in his honor at the Ekiti State Government House, recognizing his contributions to the state's development.
