BREAKING: Tinubu Reduces Kidney Dialysis Cost From ₦50,000 To ₦12,000 Nationwide

President Bola Tinubu has announced a significant reduction in the cost of kidney dialysis sessions at federal hospitals across Nigeria. The price has been slashed from ₦50,000 to ₦12,000 per session, providing relief to thousands of Nigerians battling kidney disease.

This move was confirmed by Special Adviser to the President on Policy Information, Daniel Bwala, who highlighted that the subsidy is already in effect at major federal hospitals in all six geopolitical zones. The initiative aims to make kidney care more accessible and affordable nationwide.

President Tinubu's approval of free caesarean sections for pregnant women in federal hospitals was also mentioned as part of efforts to strengthen maternal healthcare and reduce preventable deaths. This development is seen as a significant step towards improving healthcare access in Nigeria.
