Tinubu Sends Delegation to Oyo After School Kidnapping

President Bola Tinubu sent a powerful delegation to Oyo State after a recent kidnapping incident where armed men abducted 46 individuals, including 39 students and seven teachers, from three schools in the Oriir Local Government Area. The incident occurred on May 15, when heavily armed assailants simultaneously attacked the Community Grammar School, Baptist Nursery Primary School, and Yawota L Primary School in the area.

The delegation, which arrived in Ogbomoso, includes National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu, Defence Minister Christoph Musa, Minister of Power Joseph Tegbe, and Presidential Media Aide Sundai Dare. President Tinubu condemned the mass abduction as barbaric and assured grieving families that the federal government would collaborate fully with the Oyo State government, deploying advanced technology and intelligence tactics to ensure the safe rescue of the victims.
