Oba Ladoja Commends Tinubu for Student Rescue in Oyo

Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, praised President Bola Tinubu and local security operatives for their intervention in the rescue of kidnapped students and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area, Oyo State. In a statement released by his media aide, Adeola Oloko, he described the rescue as a landmark achievement for the current administration.

Oba Ladoja stressed the importance of ensuring a secure environment for citizens and highlighted the need for the government to rehabilitate the victims, who have undergone significant psychological trauma during their captivity. He expressed gratitude towards Governor Seyi Makinde for his support during this challenging period and acknowledged the efforts of security operatives, including the Chief of Defence Staff and the Inspector General of Police, in leading the rescue operations.

The Oba called for continued governmental focus on security to foster a safe atmosphere for the community.
