Tinubu's Aide Dada Olusegun Appointed Ahead of 2027 Elections

Dada Olusegun has been appointed as the Director of Media for the Citi Boi Movement (CBM), a youth-driven support group established in 2022 to back President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the 2023 election campaign. This appointment comes ahead of the upcoming elections scheduled for February 20, 2027.

Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Tinubu, endorsed Olusegun's appointment, emphasizing that it is more than just a title. The CBM aims to mobilize, educate, and empower youth and women in support of President Tinubu's "Renewed Hope" agenda.

The announcement was shared on CBM's X page on February 13, 2026. Additionally, media entrepreneur Dele Momodu commented on the political landscape, noting the challenges faced by former President and Peter Obi in the 2027 elections, highlighting the dynamics within the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
