Bruno Fernandes Named Premier League Player of the Year

Bruno Fernandes has been awarded the Premier League Player of the Year for his outstanding performance during the season, where he played a crucial role in leading Manchester United to a third-place finish. The 31-year-old midfielder equaled the record for assists in a Premier League campaign, drawing level with legends Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne.

Fernandes created 40 chances and provided 132 assists throughout the season. This award marks the fifth occasion he has received the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award.

He also won the Football Writers' Association Men's Player of the Year award. Fernandes has the opportunity to break the Premier League assist record in the final game against Brighton.

He is set to return to the national side for the World Cup later this year, where Portugal will face teams including Congo, Uzbekistan, and Colombia.
