Yusuf described Daura as a stronghold for the APC, emphasizing the party's political influence in the area. He noted a massive turnout and support during the primary, which he interpreted as a sign of the APC's growing strength and popularity in the region.

Yusuf specifically mentioned the support for Nasiru Yahaya, the APC candidate for the senatorial seat in the Daura senatorial district, stating that the crowd's enthusiasm was encouraging.
